Was in France for the Festival of St Vincent. Had a fabulous meal in this easy to book restaurant, in fact were just passing and popped in. Seated at nice table inside. It's owned by a local wine maker, so tried a bottle of their Sancerre Chatellenie which was superb and served at the exact temperature in great glasses. The waiter spoke French which is a problem for me but he was very friendly and the menu was in English. The food was superbly cooked and plated we had delicious beef and fish main courses. Would definitely recommend this great value restaurant which is right on the Sancerre Square.

A group of four arrived in Sancerre on a Friday night, and could find a table only at this restaurant. The lady in charge (combination cashier, maitre d', server) was harried but friendly and apologetic. There were approximately 20+ other customers and she handled the whole lot. Nevertheless, we were just off of a red eye flight and in no hurry. Ultimately, we had three courses plus wine; nice presentation, delicious; 136 euro for four persons, pretty good. Be patient, relax, enjoy.

Reserved on line, table was in superb location overlooking the square. Waiter was very friendly and helped us with our limited French, he was very knowledgeable on the wine front too! Menu was limited but food was excellent and beautifully presented.

Walue for money. The dinner was well cooked and the food was high quality and fresh. We give the kitchen chef 5 point. The waiter was accommodated and warm, but could not one Word english and that became a problem and several of misunderstandings.

I ate there twice with friends. The service was friendly and the food very good. My friends enjoyed it too. It was reasonably priced.
