Auberge La Corbonniere

Set away from the village of Geneslay on what was a farm. The accommodation was very modern, comfortable and of good sized rooms. The room we had was upstairs overlooking the car park and fields. The vellux window made the room a little dark, no problem for over night stop but would be more of an issue if you were staying for a longer period. Plenty of hanging space and a very efficient walk in shower. Your need to take your own shampoo/shower gel as only soap provided. The restaurant was excellent for €26 each we had a very good 3 course meal. Breakfast was simple but plentiful. The home made bread and different types of jam were delicious. I have visited the Auberge on a number of occasions and have been impressed on every visit with the whole experience. Food is beautifully presented and cooked to the very highest standard. The owners have created a restaurant which is simply furnished whilst being very warm and welcoming which together make a relaxing atmosphere in which to fully enjoy the meal.

as always a joy. christine mine hostess is a star. very good eating and nit overpriced! delicious puddings! and a good choice in weep. God is not to serve bubbly as an appero, but rather a small part! gb. ps there is a terrace to sit when the weather looks fit!

welcomes very friendly, open especially for our family meeting, and excellent quality and food prices. in a rural setting of this old renovated farmhouse of the Corbonnière. I highly recommend and will certainly return
