A wonderful stop on our drive from Dordogne to Millau, we found this restaurant courtesy of Trip Advisor and it was a good one! We just had the EUR20 lunch, and the food was beautifully prepared and delicious. Particular highlights were the Gratinée d’agneau and the Île flottante – well worth a taste. Service was great, wine recommendation turned out very well (and not expensive, EUR10 for a 500ml bottle of a very decent local white).Just note that the ‘dot’ for the restaurant is a little off (at least from the Trip Advisor App for iPhone). Sat outside in the glorious sunshine and enjoyed a lovely impromptu lunch for four. This is one of our favourite local restaurants. The three course daily menu always starts with a country soup, which is hot and hearty. They always have a choice of the plat du jour (off the more expensive 21 euro menu) and there are some scrummy puddings, again with lots of choice. The wine is reasonably priced. There's a pool if you feel like taking the plunge, but we are always too full to contemplate much more than an afternoon stroll or a nap. A party of seven, we thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday lunch in this lovely restaurant. The menu was varied, we had several menus to choose from at various prices, and a la carte too. The soupe du jour was extremely good, the mains all good except a little difficulty understanding the different fish varieties offered, and the selection of cheeses and desserts again very good. The house rose was excellent, and the atmosphere charming, we ate on the terrace under welcome sun parasols. Would recommend to anyone who loves French local cuisine.
Nine of us arrived at this charming Restaurant, the menu was far more expansive than I'd expected, the food was excellent and service was great and very friendly. I just can't sing this places enough. It is obviously popular with the locals as we were there at opening time and within 15 minutes the place was packed. Really good wholesome country food well cooked, well presented, well served and thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you.

We had the "Menu du jour". L'entrée : "Soupe" - Lovely homemade soup with the local season vegtables. Faux filet (sirloin) with spinach & mash potatoes Île flottante (Homemade meringue floating on a vanilla custard) Quality/price very good. Friendly atmosphere. Clean
One of the joys of dining in France is the beautiful, attentive service in good restaurants. This was no exception. Our food was beautifully presented and delicious and a personal visit by the proprietress was a nice touch.
