I think the restaurant has been taken over since my visit in March but when we ate here in the spring the food, wine and service were incredible. I'm conscious that everything could have changed but we had such a brilliant night tasting Sancerre wines...(out of Zalto glasses), eating fish, snails and local cheeses and then spent 20 minutes talking to the chef. If it's half as good as it was then, it's well worth a visit.
Thoroughly enjoyed everything about this restaurant. The young chef and his wife have recently taken ownership and the food was amazing! We visited 3 Michelin recommended restaurants during our holiday and this was my favourite. The food and service were outstanding. Lovely to see the...chef chatting to all patrons at the end of the evening. Wishing them every success. Definitely recommend

We’ve eaten many times at the Pomme d’Or under the previous chef Didier. It was always a very consistent and pleasurable experience. Our dinner the other day was excellent. Visited this restaurant this evening. The food and service was super amazing. The food was innovative, delicious and a work of art. We loved everything about this restaurant. Decent prices as well. If you get a chance you must go here.
was so happy to be back at la pomme d’or. the meal and the service were great. it was sad that véronika and didier had left, but the new attentive and welcoming owners were excellent. I wish them the next happy 30 years in sancerre.
