I cycled, eccentrically perhaps, on my Brompton from Aix in order to try this restaurant, and this amused the delightful staff. Perhaps my appetite was keener afer a strenuous 40 minute ride up some very steep slopes (I found a much easier way the next day) but the starter I chose - foie gras poêlé on asparagus (inter alia) was just superb. I would rank it just about the best foie gras ever. My lavaret (a fish found only in the Lacs du Bourget and, I think, Annecy) was so delicate and beautifully cooked. Wonderfully welcoming service, stupendous views. I could not have been more happy, and I was well prepared for my 40 minute ride back to my hotel.
We stopped for a "quick lunch" on the way to the Languedoc wine region. Three hours later we didn't want to leave. The amuse-bouches were already better than 1-star Michelin restaurants that I have been to lately, and the experience only got better. The first course was molecular egg with seasonal vegetables - perfectly done. The main course was Pintade 3-ways. As expected there was excellent service throughout and wine recommendations were spot on!
We had a very nice evening, all of the dishes were nicely specials and perfectly cooked. It was a too warm but we were not in the best spot. Still I will for sure recommend it. The waitress, who spoke English was also very nice; sometimes all you need is a smile ;)
My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch on the terrace. The food is correctly ranked by Michelin at one etoile. Service was friendly and efficient. The wine list highlighted wines of the region. The view is stunning.

Really nice restaurant with both an excelent view and good food. A little short of ambience on the evening we were there, however this would not prevent us eating there again.
We had an outstanding meal at Lamartine in a beautiful position overlooking the Lac de Bourget. Stunning views and excellent service. Everything about the food was delicious!
