Already visiting this auberge for a few years now. The cocktail of the house should not be missed as a starter. It 's something special with grand marnier and a marashino cherry . There are some menu 's to choose from, reasonably priced. They also serve raclette, fondue and hot plate/stone, which is always fun to do with kids. Wine card is good, nice variety versus price. In menus always the local cheeses are included which are served on a plate that goes from table to table. Deserts are copious and should not be missed (try the Vacherine for example or an Auvergnate which is served with the local Verveine-liquor). following our passage in the region, a person living next to the bourboule had advised us this restaurant, so we booked for the 03/08/2017 at noonI am surprised to see the vehicles passed between the restaurant and the terrace we prefered to eat inside. we had taken 3 meals at 32 We had chosen foie gras (although reconstituted just correct)not homeescargots not cooked without preparation and not accompanied by duck (very hard seemed to have been recuited)ul the sandre net was very good, damaging that beans were frozen beans (in the middle of season!!!) correct desserts.Serve very friendly and professional .
and having come to make a cure at Mont dore from July 4 to 26, we found this charming restaurant or the kitchen is refined, copied by the master of the house and his second. menu on weekdays at 18,50 and Sunday at 25 euros or on the map. Every day a new dish is offered and what dish! everything is delight!very good service, the very kind boss, we came 3 times including Sunday with friends from dordogne who were very surprised .compliments to the whole team.
Hello, we had lunch at the pistsounet on July 21, 2017, we ordered a local ham rag, the ham was cut a lot too thick, the children took a menu at 12,50€ with a single ice ball for dessert (a shame) the auvergnat is near its under, so we will not return to this restaurant. We had already come last year, it is absolutely necessary for the cook to learn to cut very fine slices of ham to call it a rag and add at least another ball for dessert children.

I and my children dreamed of a truffle like I had already eaten in a small Auvergnate hostel a few years ago. The truffle came cold at our table, and frankly not very tasteful compared to the one my wife or the one I loved a few years ago. My daughter ordered turkey scalopes that were tender but not cooked enough. the red wine ordered was too fresh. On the other hand, nothing to say about the reception.
a restaurant with regional dishes based on blueberry or cheese. The products are very well presented and highlighted. the setting is typical and pleasant, the perfect service and excellent dishes. I highly recommend this hostel if you go through the Sancy Mountains.Restaurant tickets are accepted.Please book especially in the summer.
we are coming to 3 more 2 dogs and have asked to breakfast out so as not to disturb the room and well the housemaster has held to what we go back and then a little water for our dogs again thank my entrèe a duo salmon and truite fumè ,me gouteux, a quasi veal sauce forest apples jumped exquisite dessert
We stopped in this restaurant which was mentionned in the Michelin guide (as from now on we have decided to only go in restaurants around France with guides in hand because of so many disappointments) . Anyway, the food was ok, a bit too heavy for us but good nonetheless. Price good for the quality

We had a very good family meal served by an absolutely charming waiter who looked after us brilliantly and efficiently and always with a smile. The cuisine is traditional so is quite rich and hearty not for people on a diet!
