Following a more than mediocre tasting... of frog thighs on Vichy, a couple of friends we shared with, invited us this Sunday at the Auberge Saint Sylvestre to appreciate the ones served here. First of all, a really nice welcome by the boss, a restaurant room in the old, pleasant with a huge fireplace (one more for the winter) and a short, simple slate card but with homemade dishes with fresh products. The plates are pleasant to the view, copyy and everything is delicious from the beginning to the end of the meal. As for the frog thighs, we have reconciled with, because here they are mellow, towels made of dotted persilded butter. This Auberge deserves a detour and we will come back soon for...
First visit to this establishment.In this small country village, this hostel is very friendly. The reception is warm, room level, lack can be a refreshment on the walls. The plates are prepared with an effort of presentation, the sauce of the magret might be to review at my taste, the cheese at room temperature, and the Fridays operation veal head, which I will not miss to try.
Excellent food! Menu at 20 € on Sunday noon. Everything was perfect and in addition they are very friendly. You really have to go. It's a little known address, but you won't regret it.
