Found this truck at the Long Island Vegan Pop Up. I had their moussaka, and, wow! Their food was unlike any food truck fare I've ever experienced. The food was amazingly delicious and flavors incredibly complex. I don't think I ever truly understood the concept of complex flavors until I tried Aubergine's food Easily could have been a meal from a five star restaurant. Happy to have found that they have a full-time location, now I know where to find them when they aren't at the pop up! P.S.: Their baklava is also exceptionally delicious and, I kid you not, they also make the best fries I've ever tasted. The owners are also super kind.
You absolutely must order from this truck, which is conveniently located at the top of the Old Country Road exit on the 135/Seaford/Oyster Bay Expressway heading north. The married couple running this fantastic food spot is incredibly friendly, and they create dishes that are generously portioned and reasonably priced. You'll find yourself looking forward to your next visit even before you've finished your current meal!
They are very patient with questions about the unfamiliar dish names, and their helpful descriptions make ordering a breeze. It's a pleasure to support local food like this!
My daughter had my husbands birthday catered by Aubergine food truck we had more than 70 people and I must say their food was amazing. The service was outstanding and anyone wanting to try authentic Egyptian cooking should try the owners of Aubergine food truck. I have never had such delicious Egyptian food except for my husbands family and in Egypt.I can’t wait till they open up a business in Huntington or Melville where one can sit down and enjoy the atmosphere and hospitality of Egyptians. There is nothing negative to say everything they cook is so delicious.
My daughter had my husbands 70th birthday catered and she ordered koshery, makarona, bedingan, patatas pirae, gulesh, shewerma and more. I have to say their food was excellent, service excellent. We had absolutely no left overs. Everyone raved how delicious the food was. For anyone wanting to try authentic Egyptian food this is the place to go. This husband and wife who own this business know how to cater to the people. Amazing is all I can say !!!!

Their food is 100% fresh healthy and tasty, i have visited most of places on long island because i am food lover so far Aubergine has best tasty and healthy and fresh food, prices are very economic. you get better food what you pay is too less. i recommend to asian community to visit and try their food. you will love it.
I heard about this place in a random magazine and from the second i read about it i couldnt wait to try it. It absolutely exceeded my expectations, ive had shawarma before, but NOTHING like this and i cant wait to come back for more. Owners are super nice too. Thanks guys!
