Great spot for a casual night out. The French Onion Soup was extremely salty. Almost inedible. Like they salted this batch twice. We mentioned it to the server and she said she'd tell the cook. We would not order it again unless it was less salty. The schnitzel was very large and very good. We would order it again. Even though there was only one server, the service was efficient, prompt, pleasant. Way to go Anna!
The hotel is so fresh and clean. The bed, linen, and pillows are so comfortable. We had a very peaceful stay. Our hostess was exceptional as was all of the staff. Dinner and drinks in their restaurant was perfect. There is an elevator (or stairs) to the second floor which only has I believe 7 rooms. Also a room for a light breakfast, juice and coffee. We truly enjoyed our stay.
We loved our stay at the Audubon Hotel in St. Genevieve, Missouri. The staff was so friendly and hospitable. The restaurant was perfect for visiting with friends over a delicious meal. The room and sleeping accommodations were superb. The water pressure in the shower was the best we have ever had in a hotel! We will stay at the Audubon again soon!
Magnificent food, great service, and delicious drinks! Stopped in for afternoon drinks and appetizers- Highly recommend the giant pretzel (was light and flaky! with both beer cheese and honey mustard dipping sauces! Artichoke dip and with dipping chips were also delicious!
Two friends and I met at the restaurant and greatly enjoyed lunch. Delicious, high quality, perfectly prepared food (cod basket, chicken, burger) and a very friendly, attentive server. We came from St. Louis and from Carbondale, IL. This is our treasured meeting place.
Food Review Only: This place was in walking distance of our Airbnb. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious! Best spinach artichoke dip we’ve ever had! I enjoyed the salmon, and my husband loved the marinated steak. We will be back!
The restaurant dining area was pleasant with plenty of natural light, the service was friendly and attentive, and the food was good. I haven't been here since covid, so this is a fresh review.
Have not been in the hotel yet for an over night stay. However did enjoy the bar and restaurant and looking forward to spending the night and enjoying the restaurant.
It was a nice stay, we enjoyed our 2 night stay. Friendly staff, excellent service and the food and drinks was delicious. The room was cozy.
