honestly very disappointing! as someone who enjoys eating out at mexican restaurants, this one is by far the worst i?ve ever had. for starters, it is a mexicali type cuisine. if you want something close to the genuine thing i would go to either puerto vallarta in orange/milford or toritos in north haven. the inside is very tight. the tables are close together, and it only seems like they have limited tables inside. the atmosphere is not cute as the bar and dining area are not separate. you are close together so it?s like everyone could hear your conversation. it took a while to be waited on. the waiter seemed to be running everything himself poor guy). as for the food itself, just awful. i o...
My wife and I ate here for the first time on Monday 13 June. There are a few Mexican food restaurants in our area but, when we walked in the atmosphere was immediately relaxed and inviting. We each order the street tacos . My wife and I were very impressed by not only the quantity of the food and the presentation but, the quality and the flavors. Our server was very engaging, pleasant and available, although not hovering. The ONLY reason I didn 't rate this 5-stars is because we want to reserve that until we have tried more of their menu items. I am pretty sure we will not be disappointed.
Enjoyed tha outdoor patio with friends during Happy Hour.. great service , chips and salsa, jalapeño poppers, chix tenders and Santa fe egg rolls.. all pretty good.. has been before and will go again. I would def recommend the birria tacos and esquites..
