During our first visit, we were delighted to discover this hidden gem. The service was excellent, and the food was reminiscent of classic dishes. The interior has a rustic charm, giving the restaurant a nostalgic feel that stands apart from the polished look of chain establishments. It was a refreshing way to start our day. As seniors, we appreciated the revival of the old-fashioned dining experience. The food was served hot and fresh, with generous portions—certainly a place we'll be returning to soon.
Breakfast is my favorite now. THAT was a good eating experience. The chicken fry steak was tasty and the chili cheese burger was wonderful. Nice waitress. This restaurant is very popular, with a breakfast crowd that nearly filled the spacious dining area. The sausage gravy was delicious, and the menu offered plenty of choices. It has the charm of a classic Kansas diner, so while it may not be the healthiest breakfast option, the food was definitely enjoyable.
