My parents live in Canyon Meadows, so will come here sometimes when we visit. Their baked pasta is very tasty, but I usually stick with their steak sandwich which is usually cooked just how I like it, is a decent size and is around $8 so how could you go wrong? Their crispy wonton appetizer is a nice way to start as they are crispy and light, but still have lots of flavor. Caesar drinks are really good too. We like coming here.
My first lunch outside in Calgary was at this bar named Austin's. We ordered a couple of beers and since we were not that hungry , we just ordered the pizza for which they had an offer.<br/ The toppings- onion,chicken, jalapenos were fresh and the part which got me excited was the loads of parmesan cheese. The PisA priced at 17$ is enough to fill up 3 people. <br/ Cost for two (4 beers and a pizza) -40$
Great Place with a great chef. This place looks very unassuming, but they have recently done some renos and the interior looks great. They have specials of the day that are unique and well priced we recently got a large platter or fish tacos for $9!! Soups and many sauces are whipped up by the chef daily. Yum (especially for a low priced pub)!
Quite Good. Had dinner here with my wife and friends last friday.We all enjoyed our meals and had good service from a waitress who was very busy. I went for the Pork Chops severved with mashed potatoes which were great, wife had Salmon with Red Pepper Coulis, also delicious. Definitly exceeded our expectations for a suburban pub. Great Neighborhood Pub. We just moved into the area and have made Austin's our regular go-to place for Friday night eats! The steak sandwich is amazing at $6.95 (must have the gravy! and the chicken quesadilla is one of the best I've every had! Service is friendly and we never have to wait long! Nice way to end the week.
The interior is much nicer than the exterior! Lots of seating, pool tables and vlt machines. Service varies sometimes it's great and other times not so much. White wine choices are poor. Other drinks are just fine. Food is very basic pub food. Nothing for vegans. Good place for a few drinks with friends.
Great bar with amazing pub food! One of the best in all of Calgary! Who doesn't love their cheap steak sandwich which is the everyday special! There wings are yummy! Never had a bad meal here! They have an amazing beer selection. Service is always amazing. Vlts for anyone whose feeling lucky!
Untraditional Pub Food. Aside from the standard pub food, Austin's has more to offer. Try the salmon risotto or the slow braised lamb shank they were both excellent. Would definitely go back and wish that it wasn't so far from where i live. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
AMAZING FOOD. We've dined at this neighborhood pub several times and are never disappointed. Great food, very reasonable prices, wonderful friendly sevice. The renovation is beautiful and rivals pricier places downtown. It's a gem!!

"the dumplings and chicken feet taste quite good. the sauce on the chicken feet is alright, I find it a little too greasy, or maybe that's just the way how its supposed to be. service is fast but probably because I'm the only customer during my visit!"

"Even though it was a slow night at the restaurant (due to a holiday), we received subpar service. Our chicken tikka was delivered 25 minutes after the rest of our order. The manager did refund the dish, but we still left feeling unsatisfied."
