Had dinner with my wife here last night, a place we have frequented a few times as its local. Most choices were OK but one that we ordered (slow braised octopus) was very ordinary. When the waiter asked if everything was OK, we'd left the dish uneaten as the octopus was soggy (watery)and had no flavour whatsoever, she dismissed this as irrelevant given it was a slow braised dish??? I challenged her "opinion" that was how it was supposed to be and again she pretty much wasn't interested and dismissed our complaint. Ging dort in der halben Preis-Special Restaurant Week. Wir hatten 3 Hauptgeräte und 2 Netze und 1 Beilage. Die Kalbfleisch-TOUNG ist nicht frisch, Sie können von seiner Textur und dem Geschmack erkennen. Der Jakobsmuschel Ceviche ist erfrischender und stechender Geschmack. Der Koch in diesem Restaurant scheint den Säuregehalt in den Gerichten zu sehr zu lieben, alle Mahlzeiten haben einen starken sauren Geschmack. Mein Speisepartner hat es nicht gefallen, aber ich bin mit ihm in Ordnung. Die Entenleber-Pastete ist gut, aber nicht großartig. Das Netz ist gut gekocht, die Zutaten sind jedoch nicht von hohem Standard. In den Overalls ist das Essen während der Restaurantwoche einen Besuch wert.
Went there on the half price special restaurant week. We had 3 entree and 2 mains and 1 side dish. The veal toung is not fresh, you can tell from its texture and taste. The scallop ceviche is refreshing and pungent taste. The chef in this restaurant seems to love acidity in the dishes too much, all the meals have a strong acid taste. My dining partner did not like it, but I am ok with it. The duck liver pate is good but not great. The mains are well cooked however the ingredients are not of high standard. On overalls, the food is worth a visit during restaurant week.

Schöner Ort und toller Service. Der Wagyu-Rindfleisch-Rump wurde von anderen empfohlen, also habe ich es versucht. Es ist alles gut, bis ich es auf dem Teller sah, das Steak in 4 Stück geschnitten wurde, und die Öffnungen zeigten bereits Anzeichen des Trocknens (unser Tisch hatte 6 Gerichte angekommen, also nahm ich an, dass es angenommen wurde, dass er beim Warten geschnitten und auf einem Warnplatz saß, während er wartete für andere Gerichte bereit, bereit zu sein). Anders als das war alles gut.
Das Restaurant ist ein verstecktes Juwel in der Umgebung. Schöne Sandsteinwände und ziemlich intim, aber ruhig. Das Essen ist sehr hochwertig und es ist ein sehr gutes Restaurant für einen zuverlässigen netten Abendessen. Die Steaks sind großartig und normalerweise enthält das Menü vier Netze (ein Lammteller, Fisch, Rindfleisch und vegetarisch) sowie einige Specials. Kann auf Dimmi buchen, was auch ein großer Plus ist. Das Steak war sehr groß, aber versteckt sich in dem hochgeladenen Foto.
Restaurant is a hidden gem in the area. Beautiful sandstone walls and quite intimate but quiet. The food is very high quality and it is a very good restaurant for a reliable nice dinner venue. The steaks are great and usually the menu contains four mains (a lamb dish, fish, beef and vegetarian) plus some specials. Can book on Dimmi which is also a huge plus. The steak was very large but is hiding in the photo I uploaded.
Nice venue and great service. The wagyu beef rump was recommended by others so I gave it a try. It's all good until I saw it on the plate, the steak was cut into 4 pieces, and the openings were already showing signs of drying (our table had 6 dishes arrived, so I assumed it was cut and sitting in a warning place while waiting for other dishes to be ready). Other than that, it was all good.

Die Atmosphäre hier ist sehr freundlich, intelligent lässig und ansprechbar. Wir saßen in den Außenbereich für ein paar Getränke und einen schönen Topfkuchen. Die Pastärke war perfekt mit einer kimmierenden Sauce-Füllung gekocht und ergänzt den Rotwein, an dem ich trank. Es gibt auch ein nettes Restaurant im Pub, das vielversprechend aussieht, und ich werde es bald versuchen.
