The place's silly address! matthieu is extremely nice and convenient, the place is magical and a welcome tranquility. no traffic, no noise or visual pollution at night, but happiness. the rooms are cute as all, with special mention for the one with terrace for breakfast. covid obliges, no host table but a formula based on excellent bocal dishes and at modical prices, perfect for not having to resume the bike for dinner. The road to get there is narrow and turbulent, but it deserves! friends bikers, go with your eyes closed:
We spent a night in a holiday cottage in the Gîte de la Baume during a trip to Verdon. We dine extremely well at Alice and Matthew's guest table. Home cooking, local products, we have enjoyed it! Breakfast is hearty and like dinner, delicious. The guests are a charming and very accessible young couple. We highly recommend this step, in cottage, guest room or simply for a dinner taking advantage of the breathtaking view of the valley. Redo as soon as possible
Charming hosts who welcome with a smile and are able to adapt to the small tracas of the travellers. Local cuisine is worth the detour (on reservation only). Possibility of taking an apero with a breathtaking view. Breakfasts are hearty and are ideal for sportsmen. The gite rooms are clean with sheets. Perfect for small stays. The common bathroom is very well kept. A calm and gentle life to recommend.
Few choices however the products are fresh and everything is done home so if the card suits you, don't hesitate. The reception is friendly, the service also. A small flat about the proximity to the other tables...

A delicious meal finally cooked home with a maximum of local products and with a great welcome. Very good value quality price: flat entry dessert 20€ (18€ for tenants of the gite) I recommend!!!!

So I don't have a mind; if one day I'm going back to castellane I'd be happy to pass. I'm sorry I'm not sure this restaurant is good.
