Didn't even know this little café on Brighton Road at Brighton existed. It is on the eastern side of the road near the pedestrian crossing. On recommendation of a friend we entered the little patisserie to find that it was not a big place with a few tables and chairs against the outside wall and a long table in the middle which was used as a communal sit down. Then we sighted the pastries and cakes on display at the counter. Wonderful French pastries with absolute indulgence beckoning from behind the glass. The coffee was served in large cups on a plate accompanied with our selection of treats. There were people eating what appeared to be a large fluffy omelet with salad. I enjoyed a peach a...
The food of this French Patisserie is a delight for the visual senses as well as serving gastronomic delights. Open Tuesday to Saturday for coffee and cake and light lunches. Seating is limited so a takeway may be an option. The mainstay, however, are the cakes and pastries which have to be seen to be believed. Beautifully creative and delightfully pleasing to the palate. As a regular customer, I still find it hard to choose, although the Berry Frambois is a favourite.
Called in for a coffee and treat mid morning with friends and loved it! First impression was so very good - warm welcome from staff and even other customers, the setting is inviting and the display of patisseries, wonderful!Had to sample a range of goodies and picked up a quiche for lunch which was well priced. Definitely worth the visit!
This is our favourite local place to go for a treat. Those treats are becoming more and more regular as we enjoy the friendly service, great coffee and delicious cakes and pastries. My eyes immediately go to the sweet cakes on display but do not forget to check the mirror board to see what savoury offerings are available on the day. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Often meet here during the week for a coffee, cake or sometimes lunch. Always the same - great service and delicious food. French pastries unreal and have also enjoyed their omelettes and quiches! We also purchase our Christmas Log Dessert here each year! Highly recommended.
Great little,French coffee shop, atmosphere fabulous, always busy, great staff, cannot say enough about the pastry's and the croissants are simply amazing. Do yourselves a favour a have a great coffee and a very French sweet treat.
We love the authentic French experience at Aux Fines Bouches.... not to mention the beautiful cakes and lunches. The owners and staff are welcoming, and never too busy for a quick chat.

Great to return to one of our all time favourite cafes. The renovations have really added that extra zing to this great eatery.
