08.03.2024 i was invited to this restaurant to try gourmandise de la cuisine française. I was really disappointed with the camembert with thym and truffle as I didn 't find any truffle in my first dish. For the second one the sauce for the fish was extremely acid and I asked to change it, but the person who served started to say that it should be like this. He changed the fish with a new one but it was extremely salted. And the vegetables were half cooked and half overcooked plus I was stuck with the taste of the burned onions in my vegetables. I don 't recommend this restaurant. I told my opinion to the person but he continued to tell that everything should be like this. The price and quali...

Petit restaurant à l accueil souriant mais salle à l étage trop bruyante musique trop forte pour discuter à deux. 50 min pour avoir l entrée , nous avons trouvé le service un peu long . L entrée était très savoureuse Le porc était moelleux avec une sauce forestière délicieuse La tajine était bonne mais rien à voir avec celle de son pays d origine , pensez à modifier le nom du plat qui est trompeur… Quant aux desserts grosse déception : le riz au lait et les pommes caramélisées étaient pas cuites quel dommage de finir pour nous sur une note négative … Ah oui les petites bouchées apéritives étaient bonnes mais un goût de trop peu avec un verre d alcool …

We visited this restaurant with my husband this weekend while we were spending some time in Nantes. I was a bit hesitant in the beginning because it was recommended by the hotel where we stayed and I was fearing it would be a tourist attraction or something.But no! Everything was excellent, the food was superb and my husband enjoyed it even more than I did. I will certainly revisit if we go to Nantes again. Strongly recommended!

Acting on reviews from trip advisor and noting the difficulty in finding a restaurant open on a Sunday evening in France, we snapped up a booking at Aux Fourneaux. So Glad we did, the décor was nice, the restaurant was spotlessly clean. The service was very good as was the food.Everything you could ask for in a restaurant really.Oh and the cheescake at desert was amazing! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Booking based on the recommendation of Tripasvisor, we were pleased to find the food as delightful as recommended and the service friendly and efficient. We ordered 4 nicely priced menu's with additional orders of deserts - we couldn't choose between the nice options. The cheesecake was particularly tasty.

We were attracted to this restaurant by its variety of risotto's (17€ 22,5€ . It was very refined presented and quickly served. My girlfriend got cold and they gave her immediately a fleece blanket. I would really recommend this to the average tourist!

It was really a good experience, the restaurant is located in a small street, the waiter was very friendly and kind, the desserts were delicious, especially the caramelized apples.
