we have eaten twice while we stay in the hotel. la petite pierre has a good choice to eat places for such a small village, so the competition is intense! the menu is good, quite classic regional dishes. in the first night I had a very generous...pork dish (may have been for two people enough) and in the second night I had a whole trout that was very well cooked (although would have benefited from a lemon on the side, or even a side of a lemon butter sauce service was always friendly and efficient. the wine card is extensive and the restaurant has a magical atmosphere for a hotel. it is not the cheapest place to eat in the city, although the three main hotel restaurants are all a similar pric...
With wonderful vistas across the valley and over to old town, the restaurant in the Trois Roses hotel is wonderfully located. The main room has character and ambiance, while there's also a lovely patio for warmer weather.The menu is interesting (in a good way) and sports plenty of local fare, with locally-sourced products. Service is attentive and efficient.This was a very pleasant dining experience that would have been made better had somebody on staff recognized that the background music did not quite match the atmosphere: We heard "I Will Survive" three times over the course of the meal.
We stopped at Aux Trois Roses for lunch after being turned away by a snooty maitre'd at another restaurant (no reservations). Although our French is weak and we weren't dressed in designer clothes, the staff at Aux Trois Roses greeted us warmly and treated us with respect. Anyone with food sensitivities will appreciate the allergy list on the menu's last page, showing what dishes contain ingredients that many have issues with. The decor is lovely, the views stunning, especially on the terrace, and the food very good. Thank you ATR for a delightful experience.
We have stayed overnight in this hotel on four different occasions when travelling to Germany. We shall do so yet again in 2016. We think it is really lovely. Truly Voges. Truly French. Rooms are simple but perfectly clean and adequate with lovely views. The restaurant serves very good food and the wine list has a good choice and is quite impressive. Prices excellent. The service is of a high standard. The staff work really hard to make one feel at home Finally Laure the owner is charming and most helpful.
This resto-hotel is located in La Petite Pierre, a nice place to spend 1-2 nights. We were having dinner at the restaurant. Brilliant service, really good and well presented food. They also have a specific menu regarding allergies what is not easy to find in France. They took care of every detail. It is not cheap but I think is the standard of the area. If you have the chance, please ask for a table in the terrace, amazing views. I highly recommend this place.
We felt very welcome, what a friendly staff, we got a table with great view rightaway, without reservation. Drinks and pretzels on the table within 5 min. Large portions, wine was poored regularly, the showed attention to us and treated us like king and queen. We would definitely go back! Well done team +++
We just stopped over to have a drink in their terrace. The terrace has a nice view on the fields and the surrounding forest. The service was excellent and the local wine delicious. We will come back for sure
Duck, fish, choucrutte and steak are tasty and more than enought, there is a babyseat and Childeren menu, The service is slow, not enought staff, servers are kind. Prices are average.
Food is average at best. Waiting is far too long, service is friendly but inefficient. Just have a drink is the best. There are better alternatives in the area.
