we have eaten twice while we stay in the hotel. la petite pierre has a good choice to eat places for such a small village, so the competition is intense! the menu is good, quite classic regional dishes. in the first night I had a very generous...pork dish (may have been for two people enough) and in the second night I had a whole trout that was very well cooked (although would have benefited from a lemon on the side, or even a side of a lemon butter sauce service was always friendly and efficient. the wine card is extensive and the restaurant has a magical atmosphere for a hotel. it is not the cheapest place to eat in the city, although the three main hotel restaurants are all a similar pric...
We stopped at Aux Trois Roses for lunch after being turned away by a snooty maitre'd at another restaurant (no reservations). Although our French is weak and we weren't dressed in designer clothes, the staff at Aux Trois Roses greeted us warmly and treated us...with respect. Anyone with food sensitivities will appreciate the allergy list on the menu's last page, showing what dishes contain ingredients that many have issues with. The decor is lovely, the views stunning, especially on the terrace, and the food very good. Thank you ATR for a delightful experience.
This resto-hotel is located in La Petite Pierre, a nice place to spend 1-2 nights. We were having dinner at the restaurant. Brilliant service, really good and well presented food. They also have a specific menu regarding allergies what is not easy to find in...France. They took care of every detail. It is not cheap but I think is the standard of the area. If you have the chance, please ask for a table in the terrace, amazing views. I highly recommend this place.
as if we were lucky, we had nice weather, so we'd eat outside on their terrace. we were not guests in the hotel with the same name, but had no problem with reservations. both nights were great. the surrounding talks were French and German., no Americans around! the menu was complete with local tariff and we enjoyed escargots, foies gras, troute and kir made with cremant. all beautifully presented and wonderfully tasting! would return in a heartbeat! The dining room is pleasant and has an excellent view. We had plenty of time to enjoy it, as the service was slow even though the room was 1/4 full at most. My wife ordered choucroute, which was bland; my chicken breast stuffed with cheese...and sundried tomatoes was better, but still undistinguished.
the food was so delicious and the personal friendly. we had a table with a wonderful view of the opposite with a great wine and drink selection. we stayed for hours in the warm and welcoming restaurant and left full and happier. highly recommended!
Came here for dinner tonight. I feel that they do a lot of all inclusive as people where eating many courses that were not on our menu which was disappointing. Lovely setting, make sure you have a drink on the terrace.
Had two a la carte meals here in the restaurant that also seems to be called Restaurant Geyer. Had souris d'agneau, choucroute and pintade (guinea fowl). All were good, presented well and tasteful. Service was prompt. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Very lovely staff. Helpfull and polite, with a smile. Nice hotel. We had a backroom, with terras. Splendid view over the countryside. Food is good, but not exceptionnal.
