I ordered 3 gondolas and a pizza bread deluxe. The bread had a small line of salad dressing not really mayo. I don't know what's different but the bread hard on the ends and the texture wasn't its normal of the bread. It was cut thin on top and thicker on the bottom. I asked for the gondolas to be cut it quarters. They were cut thru the top bread but not thru the bottom. I got it so I could eat and drive. Didn't work since I had to tear the first end and the rest of it just slid off. I never understood why dinning in you always get warm bread and maybe it's the older bread or day old. I went to this joint on my recent trip to Morton. This place came recommended by a local so I decided to check it out. I ordered the Italian beef w/mozarella and au jus on the side. I also decided to add and a side of mozzarella sticks. Complimentary bread was provided which was a bit on the sweet side while the bread had a slight chew. The mozzarella sticks were tasteful but nothing to write home about. Now the italian steak, it was good with the added melted mozzarella but the bread was a bit over toasted and the au jus could have been cooked down a bit more to get that robust trimmings/fat flavor. My team and I had a wonderful dining experience here. We all appreciated the lovely atmosphere and the extensive selection of pink lemonade. I particularly enjoyed the chicken parmesan, while my good friend Ellis Domenick savored a pizza topped with Kaboom sauce. He wasn't able to finish his pizza, but he's planning to take the leftovers home to enjoy later. I've dined at Avanti twice before, and while it was fine, those visits were a bit challenging. I'm looking forward to returning with my team next year. Ellis, Dominic, and I are also fans of W Rezz.
I would definitely recommend eating at Avanti's!! My chef salad was delicious, lots of meat cheese. I also took a pasta dinner home, which was also delicious enough for two meals. As always, their bread was all you can eat VERY good! The service was excellent. My bill was only $21.00!!!!! Avanti's deserves your business!! You won't be disappointed!

A gem in Peoria! The food here is consistently fantastic. Over the years, I've sampled nearly the entire menu and have loved every dish. Our family favorites are the Gondola, the Avanti special pizza, and without a doubt, the best chicken tenders on the planet.
I ordered Avanti's today and my sandwich was disappointing and gross. Old lettuce that was wilted beyond being edible. I wouldn't put that on a sandwich for anyone, why would you all? If I was closer I would go back. Instead it's headed for the trash!
I'm a doordash delivery driver. I was picking up an order I had to submit it first, it was done very fast. I loved that fact. However the little room you go to for a pick up order was very busy so there was not much room to stand or sit down to wait.
This is a fantastic place to stop during our travels. The lasagna was excellent, and the gondola as well as the ranch dressing and houseware for our salads were truly delicious. We’ll definitely be returning the next time we’re in town.

I and my wife love this Avanti, every time we come to Peoria, this is our first stop and our last. Everything is always hot and tastes so good. Wish there was one where we live drive 5 hours for this delicious food
