What a great restaurant. We visited on a Wednesday (would recommend a reservation on any day, they seem to be busy) and had a wonderful dinner. Staff was very friendly, uncomplicated and attentive. The food was excellent, one of the best meals we had in France this year so far. There are two different menus with each two choices for entrées and mains. We also asked for a wine recommendation, the demi-bouteille was also very good and matched both dishes well. Certainly a restaurant we would recommend in Avignon!
Arrived at noon without a reservation and we were able to get the last outdoor table. Reservation highly recommended. Lunch menu limited but very reasonable at 22 Euros for starter and main. We both had beef carpaccio followed by the two mains offered: fish and chicken. Excellent combination of textures and ingredients. Service efficient and friendly. We were so impressed we reserved for tomorrow. A fine restaurant in central Avignon not to be missed!
This place is unassuming and carried no baggage of the STAR assigned to it. The service is prompt (and managed in English as well) ,the food looks as appealing as it tastes and its exquisite presentation does not take away from the wholesome experience. A star less as the dessert did not manage to transcend the build up (which were the previous 2 courses). PS: A prior reservation is required .
Absolutely delicious! The best in Avignon!Excellent service! We have no reservations and wait for about half hrs for lunch which is very lucky! The staffs are kind and patient, could speak fluent English. There is something wrong about the information here! They are not closing at 1:30 at lunchtime, we entered the restaurant at 2pm.
