I literally have been anticipating and waiting in excitement to find time to book my reso for this restaurant. I’ve heard such good reviews in the past year. I’ve worked in the food and bar industry for 18 years now and have worked my way to General manager and take huge pride in every customers experience in my store. I am hugely disappointed in the food I had such high hopes. The service was weak at best won’t be coming back and won’t be recommending. Second time visiting this must try restaurant. The beef Wellington. Is their crown jewel and was delicious. I ordered medium rare but it came medium. Overdone, still delicious but not perfect The sides (potatoes and veggies) were perfectly prepared. The appetizers were not great. Tempura shrimp was not true tempura, just battered with no tempura. The steak tartare was a bit of a let down. It was a bit too sweet, and had a sweet relish flavour to it. I would go back for a special event but would pass on the appetizers.
I liked the service and the atmosphere! But I expected more from the food, not very tasty pasta with seafood and there was almost no seafood, there were empty shells and some fish, for such a price they could have put more fish and shrimp. The aperol spritz cocktail was lovely and delicious! Our hotel recommended Avenue to us and. we are so glad they did. Dinner was amazing. We started with sazarac cocktails while perusing the menu. We ordered the tempura prawns and the croquettes to start...followed by the Korean spicy friend chicken — all very good. We shared madeleines and chocolate for dessert. Very nice ambience. Avenue offers a nice selection of wines by the glass. Would definitely return.
I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant for dinner. The food was absolutely delicious, earning a perfect 5-star rating. The service was also exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff. The atmosphere was great as well, with a cozy and inviting ambiance, earning another 5-star rating. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for a wonderful dining experience.
We love this place! We don’t even consider going elsewhere for dinner drinks when we’re in Regina. The staff are incredible very welcoming (even when we changed our reso time twice and were still late . Come here if you want an impressive night out in this little city!

The food was amazing. It was my first time having beef Wellington and I would definitely order it again. The restaurant does an excellent job. I would rate the food a 5, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 5.
