Avos was success!! Great space we chose to have our baby shower. Andrew is a great owner and manager. He was attentive to our needs and knew exactly what would be hits for our guests. He did not disappoint. We had a wide arrange of foods that were delicious and our guests raved about! The grilled shrimp and hummus was my favorite! He perfectly timed when the different platters would come out so guests were constantly entertained in having options to choose from. The drinks were exceptional! Presentation on them was amazing and even the mock tails made you think you were indulging on a real cocktail. Thank you again and I would highly recommend Avos for your restaurant of choice!
Avo’s Grill is one of my favorites places to eat in Cliffside Park. I’m from out of town and I’ve been here countless times, and this place never disappoints. The service is impeccable and the food and cocktails are always delicious. My personal favorites are the wings, grilled shrimp, barbeque ribs, skirt steak, and the chocolate lava cake. The vibe and atmosphere of the restaurant is amazing and the owners are very attentive and friendly. Perfect place for special occasions or just a night out with friends. Highly recommend 10/10.

Held a graduation party at Avos and I can’t begin to explain how amazing the experience was. Every team member was extremely kind and understanding. The waiters/waitresses, and the bartender were great with everyone! Andrew is amazing to work with and plan an event with. The food was fantastic- everyone reached out to me to tell me how good the food was. The night was seamless. Extremely satisfied. Thank you to every single team member at Avos!
Stopped here for a glass of wine. Ordered the house cab. Asked for my bill and was told just so you know gratuity is already included. $24!!!!! The wine was $19!!!! Not even in NYC I had been fined (yes, as a penalty) that much for a glass of wine, never mind from a screwcap bottle! So the owners stole $5 from me, just for bringing my business to their establishment. Well, there went my desire to support THIS particular local business.
Went for a late night chocolate lava cake and a drink. They were both great. I didn't try the food though. Ambiance: The place was a bit more modern than my liking but it was still cute. There was a DJ so it was a little loud so maybe check before going if you're looking for a quiet place to catch up. Service: was quick and attentive when I was there. Wasn't super packed but it was a week night.
It's refreshing to see a restaurant maintain such high standards over time. The longevity of Avos speaks volumes about their commitment to excellence. 2nd visit, had to let everyone know this place is great!! MUST TRY Lamb Ribs with good pairing of red wine. Abel's service is excellent!! Good choice of music too Hall is not too large, but good for dates
