I’m done with this place. Went today and it was pretty slow, maybe 15 people. Sat at the bar and ten minutes went by without being acknowledged. The male bartender had a fixation with this one group and couldn’t bother to serve anyone else. I ordered a flight and was told I could try their hill climb bottle, received the flight, but never got the sample of the hill climb. The lady bartender that showed up after was a sweetheart and gave great customer service, but the one husky bartender interrupted our conversation and said that he suggest for her to start stocking the bar. This is the first time I stiffed on a tip. I suggest staying upstairs and going to the principals office.
Stumbled upon it while walking around the building, and it was the highlight of my trip. I had a bourbon over, and an absolutely incredible smoked tobacco old-fashioned. I am not an old-fashioned fan, but I could’ve had these all night long. Awesome staff. Friendly, funny, and interested in their customers. I even brought home a bottle of their bourbon. I very rarely write reviews for anything, but really wanted to after visiting. I will be back down in the Springs in three weeks and will absolutely be going again.
Great environment with cool people, excellent craft cocktails, delicious food, and fun music. One of the best spots in the Springs without a doubt.
