It is beyond me how I've never been here before. My mother, sister, son, and I came here for dinner on a Thursday evening around 5pm. I must admit, I was a little confused when we pulled into the parking lot, for there was only 1 vehicle that I could see. Also, the sign was a bit hidden so I thought it was an abandoned building at first. As we entered the restaurant, you'll see it has more of a mini grocery store vibe to it. All along the left wall you'll see metal shelves full of all types of oils, vinegars, jellys, spices and sauces. You'll also find desserts, an olive bar, wines, and other drinks. I ordered the Pick 2 side salad and wrap. I paid to upgrade my salad choice and to get a premium wrap. My side salad choice was the peasant salad with balsamic and EVOO dressing, and it was huge and included cucumber, red onion, romaine, tomato, and feta. This salad was so fresh! The premium wrap I chose was the chicken tawook wrap and I added extra chicken. The chicken was seasoned and marinated nicely and the wrap had cabbage, tomatoes, pickles, parsley and a touch of mama Lina dressing. The wrap is served warm, too! So good! They also make pizzas, burgers, soups, gyros, and several desserts. They also offer a lot of gluten free options!
Azar's has always been consistently excellent! We've been coming here for more than twenty years. We no longer live in the area, but we were visiting and decided to eat here for lunch. It was every bit as good as we remembered. We had the tabouleh, yogurt soup, turkey masterpiece, salmon gyro, and an ugly duckling (chocolate covered date stuffed with almond paste. for dessert. This brought back great memories and we thoroughly enjoyed visiting a favorite restaurant.
Everything we ordered was delicious. We were craving authentic Greek food and have been here several times but it has been a while, so we came back and it was just as good. Small establishment, but it works. They make do with the limited seating and strategically think ahead. Our server was very friendly and it seemed like he was waiting on all the tables. This is definitely our favorite spot for delicious food conveniently located nearby! The atmosphere and service are superb for dining in, and the food is still top-notch when ordered for takeout or delivery. All of the kabob platters are fantastic, but we especially love the salmon. The appetizers are also delicious. We highly recommend this place for both lunch and dinner!
Arrive early for lunch as the restaurant tends to get busy! Enjoy delicious food at reasonable prices with friendly and efficient service. The market offers a variety of tempting options. Don't miss out on trying their baklava. The signature pizza paired perfectly with a refreshing grilled chicken gyro on a hot summer day. Absolutely delicious!
This restaurant excels in every aspect - it's my favorite cozy spot to visit regularly! The service is outstanding, and they offer the best prices in town. The food is all freshly made from scratch and tastes delicious.
