This Thai restaurant is the best I've been to in a long time, and I've tried many in the Philadelphia area. I visited with a group of six, and everyone enjoyed their meals. We also shared four appetizers, all of which were delicious. The menu offers a variety of options for all tastes, including many chef's specialties. The service was quick and extremely friendly. As a nice touch, we were treated to a complimentary fried banana dessert at the end of our meal, which was the highlight of the evening. This restaurant is a great find, and being BYO saved us money on the bill. It's now my go-to spot for Thai food, and I'll definitely be back soon!
LOVE Baan Thai!! The ladies at the front are SO nice and helpful, I actually enjoy seeing them LOL! I get takeout from Baan when I want to eat a LOT and pay a LITTLE!! Also, they have vegan/vegetarian options which is really cool. My boyfriend and I usually get two noodle bowls and two apps for under $40 talk about a cheap date night!! The food is always amazing and I love how the condiments come on the side for the pho. Also love how this place has parking. So thankful this place survived the pandemic for us to discover it!! I love the tortoise at the front and all the cool decorations inside. Make sure you still tip on takeout people!!
love love the curry! I have the Massaman curry. I love that they are stuck in them ananas (the massaman curry that I have received in pastness does not come with ananas) and the portion size is great. being vegan down and not in the position to eat tofu is a lot of time they do not end up full. but what I did was asked for an additional page of rice, because I didn't get meat or tofu and he didn't give it to me. so beautiful! the best curry I had in one. also love the cocoss soup.
During our month-long world trip in Thailand, we experienced incredible street food in Bangkok and Phuket. Ban Thai may not reach that same level of quality, but it does offer solid options for Chester County residents. The sausage appetizer was particularly impressive. One unique perk was their ability to quickly chill white wine, providing a tub of ice water at our table shortly after we arrived. The food at this restaurant was delicious, and they offer a great lunch deal that includes soup, an appetizer, and an entree. However, our server, Kat, was very rude and slow. Despite the tasty food, I would hesitate to return because of her poor service. If I did come back, I would make sure to request a different server or opt for takeout to avoid tipping her. It's unfortunate that her behavior had to sour an otherwise enjoyable dining experience.
This place is a gem and its the real deal. Papaya salad (Thai salad) is genuine and prepared like it should be papaya not cabbage. Food is excellent Bangkok shrimp was incredible and the owner is a sweetheart! It's tucked away just outside of the main restaurant scene, but its absolutely worth the addl 10 min to get there. Plenty of parking too which is a major plus in WC!
The food is consistently good and tasty. We’ve never been disappointed and invite guests to accompany us to Baan Thai Sabaidee without any hesitation. The Holy Basil with brown rice and added eggplant is my personal go-to favorite...even the staff knows that! Picture below

I ordered on door dash the Tom Yum Noodle Soup with tofu. I was so good and colorful and man did they pack a lot of veggies in there. I would definitely go again.
