I visited this restaurant last night with my family, and I noticed that only two tables were occupied, with about six others available. Despite this, we were informed that they couldn't accommodate walk-ins. I had encountered the same situation three weeks earlier when I tried to visit. Looking around, it seemed that the only diners on both occasions were Caucasian, which made me feel unwelcome as we were essentially ushered toward the exit. To further confirm my feelings, a friend of mine came in with his Caucasian wife shortly after we left, and they were promptly seated. We went to Babita for dinner to celebrate our 32nd Anniversary. Both of our plates were amazingly DELICIOUS and the Sangria was the bomb. The service was OUTSTANDING, the place was clean and very romantic almost like candlelight. Chef Roberto came out to present himself and talk about his dishes and recommendations. I don't remember the name our selections but we loved our plates. The chef even sent to our table a complementary flan to enjoy for our Anniversary. We haven't had a flan as delicious as that one. We will definitely go back in September to have Chiles Enogada????
Ultra signature haute cuisine Chile en Nogada available from October to early February along with great pairing wines from Mexico's Valle de Guadalupe, Baja California del Norte. Try other refined Mexican regionally inspired cuisine year round. To some used to cheap food, Babita may seem expensive, but you get what you pay for. Chef Berrelleza is a pioneer of Alta Cocina Méxicana and should not be missed.
I've made multiple attempts to eat here just to be turned down every time for some odd reason. Staff claim to be busy. However, every time I've been there there's multiple tables available. With only 1-2 tables being occupied MAX! They can't claim it's Covid restrictions because that's all done and over with. I'll take my business elsewhere!

Great food and service! The staff is very friendly and Chef Roberto is creative with presentation and food combinations. Love their sangria! The best I have ever had! It's a small cozy place to eat plus chips and salsa for the table!

Food was tasty and good looking. The Chef/owner is very pleasant and dedicated to his passion and can talk you through the history of each dish. This doesn't come cheap, though.
Amazing food, unlike any Mexican food I've ever had. If you're looking for something extraordinary, definitely give this place a try
