Babu's Indian Spice

This was the most disappointing Indian food I have ever tried. The three dishes we ordered had absolutely no flavor or spice. We chose this restaurant based on reviews, but were shocked at how anyone could give it a good review. The prawns were chewy and inedible, leading us to throw most of them out. Save your time and money and skip this place.

My friend and I went to Babu's in Gilford last Thursday and had a lovely, flavour filled meal and it was on a special deal night, which made it even better. Everything is so fresh and presented beautifully. The service is excellent as well. Highly recommended by me, we will be back soon.

Great food and friendly staff, thank you! Can't wait to come back. It's unfortunate that the pub at the entrance is permanently closed; Indian folks should consider turning it into a diner.

Have been to this restaurant many times and the food is always excellent. As a lover of Indian cuisine I would rate Babus as one of the very best in this country.
