We asked and were told the menu was an event menu and that we would have been advised of this by phone or email - we weren't. We went for a quick family dinner as we were staying at the Pullman hotel Sydney Olympic Park where the Bacar Restaurant is located.Although the food was reasonably tasty; the portion sizes were laughably small and extraordinarily expensive - $54 for 5 bread rolls and $45 for 3 x 750ml bottles of sparkling water. The service initially was good however that staff member (perhaps the manager??) Moved on and left us with two lovely but incompetent wait staff. Half of the sides were forgotten/not served but charged to the bill at the end of the night and the wines on the wine list were of a different vintage to those served (1st world problem) and arguably not as good i.e. significantly younger....
I went there with a couple of friends before going to an evening event at Qudos Arena. While we only ordered mains and sides and had mineral water for drinks the bill was a touch on the high side for what we got. The mains were good (2 x steaks and 1 x spatchcock), but the sides were very average in size and flavour.Service was good in the beginning and towards the end of the meal it seemed to taper off and almost be non existent. We went to Bacar restaurant at the Pullman hotel syd Olympic park today The food was sensational!!!I had hand made gnocchi with seasonal vegetables - not only did it look spectacular - it was delicious. My boys ordered the club sandwich which was also fantastic.The side of Chips ( who doesn't like chips ??) were amazing !!Hard to say some chips are better than others but these are .Drizzled with truffle oil and sprinkling of cheese Big statement but I think the best I ever had.I'll definitely be back
Went there for lunch as we were in the area and thought we'd give it a go. Accor members so was good value given the 50% discount we received. A burger cost $10 after the 50% discount. The food was delicious esp some of the tapas choices .Their Coke Zero (tap) had a weird taste. The waiter went to the bar and tasted it and agreed. Our only suggestion is for the place to get bottled or cans of Coke Zero. Will go back if in the area again.
We had dinner on Saturday night before a show we had to attend at Qudos Bank Arena.The service was excellent and the staff were incredibly accommodating - our booking was originally for 6pm which is when they officially open, however when we explained that we needed to be at the show by 7pm and asked if it was possible to get an earlier start (just in case), they were happy to help us out.The food was exquisite!
Good ambience. Good space for privacy of business discussions. Great for hotel guests organising business meetings over a meal or drinks. Option of bar lounge area. Not noisy and good background muaic that doesn't interfere with business discussions. Staff are courteous and efficient. Food is alright too. Ample off street parking.

The only 5 Star hotel/restaurant outside Sydney CBD. Really good food, great atmosphere and exceptional service!
