We visited Backfin Blues De Graw for Sunday brunch. We placed a reservation for 1pm at about noon just in case but there was not a wait to be seated for our party of four. This is what we ordered. There was an order of the crab omelet with sweet potato tots and an english muffin. The omelet was cooked well with a decent amount of crab in almost every bite. The tots were crispy and the english muffin came toasted well and pre-buttered. This was accompanied by an apple cider mimosa which tasted more or less just like apple cider. for the first time visited and wow is the first thing that comes in the senses! the service was amazing and the food was delicious. our server (a man, I'm sorry to forget his name) was super friendly and attentive! the food was absolutely delicious! such a great variety! we loved the crustries! the decor is so cool to see! highly recommended to check them out! and we will definitely come back! So good!! Hubby and I are big fans of cajun/creole food and this was delicious! We started with the DeGraw Dip which is like a creole version of Maryland crab dip. The fried bow tie pasta that comes with the dip was yummy and cute. Hubby got the jambalaya (the more red of the two dishes) and I got the etouffee. Both were great. I also got a side of collard greens which were seasoned well. We will be back!!
On our next family trip to Havre de Grace Marina, I knew I had to bring them to the same restaurant for lunch, and they enjoyed it just as much! I tried the garlic shrimp po' boy, and my family had the salad, gumbo, and more. The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Backfin Blues Creole de Graw and can’t wait to return for more amazing food!

Started out with alligator bites, which had a great coating and dipping sauce, a cup of gumbo which was excellent, then for dinner blackened catfish and the short rib special. Both were very tasty, though a little pricey. Dessert included an excellent key lime pie and pecan pie. Overall a really nice dinner.
This restaurant is truly fantastic! The jambalaya is delicious, and the shrimp and grits are incredible. However, the po' boys were quite dry and didn't taste very good. On the positive side, the entrees are excellent—definitely a 10/10! Just a heads up, the gumbo is a bit salty, but still enjoyable.
everything tasted so wonderful and fresh, I also had the rubber bear that made me feel, I would eat back in new orleans. I liked the way they had specials that could be ordered for this night, like these karamellized wobbles that the waitress gave up to me. fantastic service also.
Excellent food, friendly staff and fun atmosphere! We had a private party of 30 in their upstairs room and it was the perfect setting. My table fought over the shrimp appetizers, they were soon good!

Amazing creole food! First time here and did not disappoint. Great variety of beers on tap and wine selection is killer. Shrimp gumbo and degraw dip are a MUST try! Will be back!
