Feels unfair to give a restaurant that myself and family have enjoyed for nearly 10 years a 1 star review, but the manager (correction OWNER) Micheal was so insulting I had no other choice. Their food had come with chips for years. After ordering guacamole and not having any chips I called to ask why no chips. The response was we expect you to have your own chips. Excuse me? Absolutely terrible. Upon speaking to their owner Micheal he not only echoed such an assinine statement but dug his feet into it and told me he didn 't care about losing a long time customer over chips. The restaurant is decent, though some dishes could use more flavor. One standout item is the steak quesadilla, which is one of the more flavorful options on the menu. My husband enjoys the Dakota Beef Tacos, which use the same meat as the quesadilla. We often stick to these two choices when we’re craving tacos but don't want to make them ourselves or head to Chipotle or one of the many Mexican eateries in Suffern. Just a heads up, if you want extra salsa, there's an additional charge. Most of the staff seems to be comprised of teenagers and college students. They also own Mike Mike's Famous, the burger joint next door, which is surprisingly good—more like fast food burgers.
Me and my friend came in for lunch and we got chicken tacos… the meat looked very interesting and barely cooked so we ate one taco with the chicken and then took it out of the other one. We left and all was good and met up with other people and told them we went to badland tacos for lunch they then informed us that they are known for “not cooking their food” and “food poisoning” i thouhg nothing of it but now I’m sitting on my bathroom floor dying. So eat with that in mind.
Probably the most lower mid tier tacos I've eaten. Not a bad price but honestly no flavor at all in the beef. Ordered the san Miguel tacos and the brisket was tender but no seasoning, no sauce. Just beef and refried beans. Pretty underwhelmed.ALSO what taco joint has never heard of birria!? If any other place has that on the menu I can guarantee a better food experience

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and I especially enjoyed the fishtacos. The fresh guacamole and chips made for a great appetizer. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was clean and trendy. I will definitely be returning soon.
The Kicking Burrito is fantastic, with not a hint of spiciness! The staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Definitely worth a visit and a spot at a table. Everything tastes fresh and delicious. Keep up the great work!
The restaurant is highly unsatisfactory. The food lacked freshness, with cold fries and an unappetizing spicy bean dip that had no taste. I would recommend avoiding the burritos as well. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
All time favorite place to get burritos. Fresh ingredients, quick service, fair prices. Honestly I moved away from this area recently, and still cannot say I’ve found another place that compares to this one!
