Travelled with Great Rail Journeys July 2015 and on our free day decided to eat at this restaurant. We went and booked for the evening. We did get a warm welcome form the owner and were presented with the menu. I chose stuffed pork with cheese and ham, with a modest amount of vegetables with chips. My wife decided on the pork with mushroom sauce. The waitress served the food within about 10 minutes, which was good as there was only one other couple in the restaurant. We ordered a 50cl bottle of Rose, which was fine. Once finished, the waitress grabbed our plates, removed the mats and condiments and disappeared, never to come back and offer any desserts.
