Update 2021: The restaurant is still the best. In 2019, the cornbread muffins were absolutely amazing. They were toasted with butter and tasted like a breakfast dream. I was lucky that there was no line when I visited at 10:00 AM on a Saturday, which is a rare treat. However, in a recent visit, I tried a muffin from the first class section and it wasn't as good. I am adding one star for Bagel Boss.
Two days in a row they couldn't seem to get my order right, after telling them twice to try to make sure it would be correct, for a $10 breakfast sandwich I would like to get what I pay for at the least. And the guy answering the phone seemed like he couldn't be bothered to take my order. I will spend my hard earned money somewhere else.
Well lit, spacious, clean and organized, clear menu with a lot of options, really well priced items, friendly staff that seems to really be on top of everything, outdoor seating for when the weather permits, and two large bathrooms as well. Safe to say this is one of the better spots in the area to go for bagels, treats, and coffee.
I used to frequent this restaurant, but after today's experience, I will never go back. The staff were incredibly rude and refused to accommodate a simple request for a large container. I waited for 30 minutes for a DoorDash order and no one assisted me at all. They only informed me that they needed to call the customer, which took an additional 20 minutes of waiting. Despite the small order size, the wait was unreasonably long. Other customers who arrived after me were served and left while I still waited.
I decided to visit the restaurant on a whim because I was in the mood for an egg sandwich. I was pleased to find that they had a delicious egg salad, and the cucumber side salad was also very tasty. Overall, it was a fantastic choice for lunch. The service was fast and the price was reasonable.
If you're looking to brighten your morning, be sure to stop by this restaurant. The woman who takes your order is always incredibly kind and friendly. I personally love their breakfast sandwich - you'll have to find out what your favorite is!
