I have been going here for years and I am sad to say, that clearly doesn't matter to the owners. They installed a clearly faulty currency reader and refused to take my payment. I, shockingly, am not up in Florida New York printing counterfeit money and if I was, I wouldn't be wasting time buying sandwiches with my pile of fake cash. Absurd experience and it makes me sad to see a local business tank itself like this. When you know your customers...you should have enough brain power to question your technology, not your long time patrons.
I love Bagel Girls and come here probably 4 times a week and have considered writing a review just like this several times. Half the time I go, they put on so much cream cheese and its amazing, and the other half, like today, I get little to zero cream cheese. In the pictures I posted this is unacceptable for a bagel store to sell a bagel with cream cheese like this. Please remedy this as its made me consider going somewhere else.
I called to place a takeout order and was informed that they no longer accept phone orders and that I needed to come inside to place my order. The whole point of calling ahead is to avoid having to wait in person. Thank you for the customer service; I will take my business elsewhere.
I waited TWENTY MINUTES STANDING in line just for bagels! Not a sandwich, not salad...just a bagel. This is the 2nd time this has happened. Why they do not have a separate line for JUST bagels is beyond me. I will not return.

Fair prices. Great food. Friendly staff. One of the only places that opens at 5am to serve the hard workers of the area. We appreciate this greatly. Keep up the great work you guys do!
The breakfast sandwiches here are fantastic! I really enjoy the Taylor ham, egg, and cheese. This is the best bagel spot in the Hudson Valley. The hazelnut coffee is also delicious!
Awesome service! Quickly learned to anticipate my order and would already start preparing my food by the time I walked through the door.
We come about once a year since we live in SC and our visiting our family in Glen Arden. It's always great. ALWAYS!
