Inflated prices for bagels! I ordered 6 bagels and a medium coffee and ended up being charged $22.50! That’s shocking. I had just moved and wanted to treat myself for Mother's Day, but it felt like I ended up paying Mother's Day prices instead. I was told the average price for a dozen bagels is around $17, and I think I paid more than that for just 6. If a medium coffee costs $4 to $4.50, that’s quite expensive too. I called the shop to express my concerns, but no one picked up, even though they were still supposed to be open! I recommend that you don’t make the same mistake I did—there are plenty of other good bagel shops around Albertson, Williston, Roslyn, and Mineola that would be happy...
So I 'm updating my review which used to read Always Fresh . The place got closed down over a year ago because Nassau County decided to crack down. What they 've done to this place is amazing! Their recipe for their bagels is the same. The size of their bagels is the same (LARGE). For the area, I feel they do have a good bagel and I travel about a mile to get them. Workers there now are more cheerful and far more helpful since the renovation. Stock is fresher and the place is clean. As long as they keep it up, I will certainly be loyal to them.
I've been on the hunt for bagels on Long Island that remind me of my childhood, and I finally found the spot! As soon as you walk in, you can see them boiling the bagels in the back, and the smell is just like I remember. This place brings back memories of growing up in New York. The bagels are perfectly crisp on the outside, have a lovely chew, and are fluffy on the inside. Delicious! I'll definitely be coming back.

By far, this is the best Bialy spot on Long Island! I absolutely love this place. I know what makes a good Bialy, and they truly serve the best ones around. The bagels are quite good too, but it's the Bialys that really steal the show; they're exceptional. Since their renovation in 2021, they've added more tables, making the atmosphere even better than before.
Favorite bagel place on Long Island! Perfect bagels for toasting if you like soft inside crispy outside (yumm)! Their veggie cream cheese is one of a kind too, very very good! Oh and don’t for get the muffins and chocolate croissant!! ? ?
Bagels were chewy and fresh, had sesame and onion bagels, scallion cream cheese. Counter staff were very nice and place was very clean. Would recommend.
This is the best bagel shop in the area! It's absolutely worth the trip to enjoy one of their freshly baked, hot bagels in the morning.

The staff here are really friendly! We searched everywhere for pickled herring and were pleasantly surprised to find it here.
