I used to enjoy ordering food from Bajas, especially from the Thayer St. location. I'm not sure if the entire chain's food quality is declining or if it's just this specific branch. Last night, I ordered a steak and cheese sandwich with fries through DoorDash. I expected the delivery to take about 40 minutes, but it arrived in just 30, so no complaints there. The food was prepared correctly, which I also appreciate, but unfortunately, it was soggy! The sandwich was nearly inedible, and the fries tasted like they had been reheated in the microwave. I suspect this is due to the poorly ventilated styrofoam container. While I appreciate the generous portions, packing that much freshly cooked foo...
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. They never answer the phone, which has cost me both time and money. I called several times without any response, and when I arrived, the woman at the counter smiled and said it wasn't busy, but that's not the case—I never get an answer when I call. I won’t be coming back here again. Additionally, the staff is often rude, and the food quality is quite poor compared to other Baja locations. I regularly visit the Thayer Street and Newport Avenue locations, but this one on Mineral Spring is by far the worst.
The food is always consistent here and the workers are always pleasant. It's a cute spot and authentic. It's always busy in here so you know it's good...but the wait is never long. The only thing I recommend is if you get the nachos, ask them to leave in the oven a little longer because the cheese never melts. Either that or also get the melted queso on top to help melt.
The generous portion sizes are fantastic, whether you decide to customize your meal or select something from the menu. The food is quite filling and absolutely worth the price. Definitely a trip worth taking! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

I’m not sure what’s happened recently, but if you’re going to charge $4.00 for chips and salsa, they should definitely not be stale. Otherwise, everything else was quite good!
Baja's is one of my favorite local chains, consistently delivering delicious Tex-Mex cuisine. It's always a trustworthy choice for a satisfying meal.
