I went here to get their new Churro because I really wanted to try it, needless to say, I will never go there to get one again. When you try to call and complain you do not get the actual Baker's you went to, so I don't bother with that. It was so hard that it had to have been make days before. I couldn't eat any of it. I could have probably thrown it against the wall and it would have chipped it, that's how hard it was. The person that got it and put it in a bag for me, had to have felt this and should not have served it. Never again! They have changed so much lately and I don't think it has been for the batter. COVID 19 meat shortage caused by meat processing plants that closed for sterilization, apparently caused this drive thru on Sierra to have no Barbacoa, no shredded beef. They did have ground beef... so hamburgers they 've always been famous for offer variety if burgers. We settled for the combination burrito of ground beef, beans bacon, and it was good. We 've always liked food offered by Baker 's. We drive a van, so we find the drive thru at this location a 'tight ' turn, squeezing through. We 've heard there 's a better, more open spaced Baker 's behind IHOP restaurant on Foothill? Have not gone yet to confirm.
Great service. Good quality food served fresh.This is what I said 4 months ago. Now I have a different opinion. This place is a joke. They verify your order at the menu and when you get to the window and then get it wrong 4 out of 5 times putting it in the bag. Wth. Update march 23 they got my order right!!!! The shake machine even was working???? Thank goodness because today was hot. I'll give 3 stars now, thats a pretty good improvement from my prior 1 star rating.
I spoke with Gabriel and I exampled my concerns about the quality and size of the combo burrito I just received. He informed me that Bakers has reduced their portion sizes and increased their prices. BAKER'S TWIN KITCHEN MEAL GIVES YOU A VARIETY OF THINGS TO GRUB ON. A TACO, FRIES, AND A BURGER PLUS A SOFT DRINK. MY FAVORITE BURGER IS THE ORTEGA BURGER. WOW SO DELICIOUS. I'VE BEEN EATING AT THIS BAKER'S FOR YEARS AND THEY STILL DELIVER GREAT SERVICE AND TASTY FOOD. THANK YOU BAKER'S
Fresh and consistent... chicken and also the shredded beef quesadillas were pretty good. As of June 1st you need to request straws, napkins, salsa as they will not give them to you unless you ask.... Remembering to ask could be a problem....
