Unfortunately, we stopped by just a few minutes ago to have lunch and found out that they were closed from 11 to 1 due to staffing issues and transitioning from breakfast to lunch buffet. It's disappointing that they had to close because no one wants to work, but starting the lunch buffet at 1 pm was a letdown.

Delicious buffet! We have eaten here for years. Best fried chicken pork chops...definitely mmmm, mmmm good. Love their hamburger steak onions, fried okra, etc. Fresh salad bar delicious homemade desserts. Our favorite restaurant in Covington!! And reasonably priced for the quality amount of food you get.
Everything on this buffet is fried with no flavor. The only meat was fried chicken that was tasteless, a salad buffet with soggy lettuce, old tomatoe, fake cheese, gross diced ham and watered down dressings. If your only goal is to fill your stomach, this is the place to go.

Unfortunately, the Bald Butcher has permanently closed its doors. The owner and chef have retired to spend more time with their family. They will be dearly missed.
