My first visit to Baleia definitely won't be my last. The decor is modern, bright, and cozy, making me feel as if I was far from Boston. The service was attentive, efficient, courteous, and incredibly helpful, with great menu knowledge (thank you, Julie!). The food was flavorful and hearty, leaving me wanting more after every bite. I particularly loved the Salt Cod Bolinhos and the Octopus. I appreciated the variety in their seafood options, including the delicious duck. Baleia is an exceptional restaurant. Nearly every dish can be made gluten-free, and each one we sampled was fantastic. The duck fried rice and charred cabbage were particularly impressive. We will definitely return!
