This is a fantastic spot for lunch, and you can also grab some delicious treats. We love the variety on the menu, and the roasted dishes are consistently top-notch; they really do use the best cuts of meat. Our little boy adores the fisherman’s table and the pflugmann, and he never leaves a scrap on his plate. My only regret is that we often eat so much that we can't make room for dessert, but that doesn’t stop us from trying! The Brattruthühner dinner in December was wonderful. We’ll definitely be back and are looking forward to bringing the extended family in the new year.
A special place in the area! I visited for the first time yesterday and will definitely return. The staff was friendly and courteous, and the menu had a great variety of unique dishes—not your typical offerings. My food was served quickly and with a smile, and the quality of the ingredients was excellent. Overall, it was a lovely experience!
Set nearly in the middle of nowhere but just off the A90. Great coffee including triple shot! (stay awake for days after). Light and full meals and really nice cakes. Also fantastic gifts and food drink to buy and take away.
This is a fantastic place that I can't recommend highly enough! The huts are kept to a high standard, and the staff in the gift shop and café are incredibly helpful.

Visited with 15 cyclists from Stonehaven today. Great service, friendly staff, and the full breakfast was superb. Thoroughly recommended. Will be back.
Booked in for the Grill last night. Food was fantastic and plenty of it. I had the veggie option, it was really tasty. Will be a monthly outing now!
