I do not write reviews for the restaurants I go to but I feel like it’s imperative that I do it for Balmoral restaurant. I walked up to the door greeted to a red carpet and a bagpipe player at 7 o’clock for my reservation. Right off the bat you really get a feel for the atmosphere and the style of restaurant you’re about to be in. Due to some upcoming medical issues, my wife and I decided to celebrate our 50th anniversary a little early and this was our mutual choice. As always, food was fabulous and service was good. While I doubt I will live long enough to see a return to pre-Covid service, this was fine. We can’t afford to eat there often, but will be back at some point, hopefully, for anther celebration. I think it’s the best restaurant in the West Suburbs.
Quite simply one of the best dining experiences I 've ever had. The food was amazing and comforting. The atmosphere was traditional without falling into the trap of being a 'theme ' restaurant, which I really appreciate. Everything we had was exceptional. Haggis, Scotch Egg, Sheppards Pie, etc. The selection of whiskeys was one of the best I 've ever seen outside of Scotland. I cannot speak highly enough about my experience.
Fantastic from start to finish! Comfy chairs, nice decor, and friendly staff. The food was delicious. It was wonderful to just relax and not feel rushed. I can't wait to go back.

Food and service were excellent. Sunday bagpiper added a great ambiance. Second visit in 3 weeks. Cocktails were large and well done. Very comfortable bar area.
