Actually went looking for the upmarket restaurant Cais da Villa in the old railway yard, however, it was not yet open as probably we were a bit early. Instead found the Balsa around the corner instead which was obviously 'worlds apart '. The other single reviewer has 'hit the nail on the head ' with his take on this place. If you are looking for plain, basic Portuguese food, this is the place for you, 'cheap and cheerful ' !!! Family run with slick service everything comes as cooked without sauces/salses together with veggies such as boiled potatoes and cabbage. Having said that, we still enjoyed the plain cooked salmon on the plancha with a local white vinho de la casa. Had an icecream and...
