While visiting family in Victor, NY last weekend I found Balsam Bagels on Happy Cow and had to take the drive to try them. We picked up a vegan lox sandwich on sun dried tomato bagel (ordered as it comes off vegan menu), a blueberry vegan muffin, the mixed berry and spicy veggie vegan cream cheeses and 6 assorted vegan bagels. I will NEVER go back to visit and pass on Balsam Bagels. Everything we got was delicious and fresh! The vegan lox is a must try!!
This restaurant in Rochester has the best bagels! They offer an amazing vegan lox and bagels sandwich that you can't find anywhere else. Their lunch specials are also delicious, but I always end up getting the vegan lox and bagels because it's just that good. You order your food at the counter and then take it to your own table. The restaurant is small, so it can get crowded during lunch hours, but it's definitely worth the wait for a table.
I love balsam bagels! every time I was there, it was always a great experience! every single employee who works there is extremely nice, they never seem disturbed and never rude! it is important! it makes me want to get out of my way and go there instead of brueggers, or another moderate Bagel place! 5 stars each time! These are definitely the best bagels in Rochester! make sure to try their vegan breakfast sandwich or one their soups! They always have quite a few vegan soup options along with knishes, phyllo dough treats and even bagel dogs. They also offer a great variety of vegan baked goods such as muffins, chocolate banana bread and coconut-almond bread. So good!
The service was extremely quick, with a new type of coffee offered daily. The cookies were particularly delicious. I also sampled the garlic and crimped bagel, which was fantastic. I will definitely return to this establishment. It's great to have a neighborhood bakery in every part of the city. It's a must!
I love grabbing breakfast here! They have lots of vegan options and the staff is knowledgeable about what is and isn’t vegan. They have vegan cream cheese that they make in house for sale, along with tofutti. I love their vegan breakfast sandwich with added veggies. They have pastries that are vegan as well!
Used to be my favorite bagel spot around. I now know why they tasted so good. It was the rat poop, pee etc. Idk how people still go there let alone how they still have 4.7 google reviews. So disgusting. You should be ashamed of yourselvesFood: 1/5
