I have been to now three of the BCT locations, and I cannot deny that their coffee and food is good, but the Timonium visit today was upsetting. The store was busy, and I expect delays but as I was giving my order a young man who was still very new was having a challenging time taking my order. His service is not what I am upset at though. As I was waiting for my second drink, I had to follow up on it with, what appeared to be the supervisor, and without so much as an apology he said that he would have to charge me for it (again, not bad, but an apology would have been nice). As the supervisor handed me the drink, I told him, “[that] I am not happy with the service.” Again with no apology he...
I want to start off saying the young lady at the register was SUPER nice sweet. However, I ordered 2 coffees and a bagel w/ cream cheese but when we got the coffee, both my husband and I turned to each other and said it tasted like straight gasoline, we ended up throwing it away, unfortunately. It was absolutely terrible. When they called out for our bagel, they called out “strawberry jam cream cheese bagel”. When I told them that we didn’t order strawberry jam, the guy behind the counter gave an attitude said “well that’s what was in the order”. It wasn’t even busy at the time. Total waste of $15, we ended up going to THB. Highly disappointed because we wanted to try out a local shop.
The fresh ground coffee is amazing. Highly recommend that if you're there, but I have to say you should avoid the k-cups. The blueberry cream coffee cups come out looking like slightly brown water. Maybe these ones were just not packed correctly or were older than the package said, but I have also had the same experience with the Starry Night blend k-cups. I know keurigs never match up to coffee made the right way, but these were exceptionally disappointing. The fresh blueberry cream grounds you buy by the pound were amazing! In short, avoid the K-Cups but 100% get the normal fresh grounds!
Stopped in to pick up some coffee with my wife. I am not a coffee drinker. However I was surprised to see that they had a little small eatery inside as well. Nice spot to grab some light food, chill read a book or catch up with an old friend and relax. I did get one of the absolute best smoothies I have ever had at a great price. What a pleasant surprise. Came in for the first time today. Was allowed to try sample of cold brew coffee as I was unsure about what beans to buy. Associate was knowledgeable and helpful in helping me make my decision. I'll be back to get more grounds to brew!
The coffee and tea at this restaurant are excellent, making it a cozy spot for breakfast. I especially enjoy the music they play!
