Stopped in at Balzac’s and couldn’t believe how busy it was inside, all seating was taken and line was all through the store!Decided on picking up a couple bags of coffee to take home and skipped the coffee and sweets they offer in store. Made myself a few cups of the anniversary blend and am not disappointed! Excellent beans and can’t wait to try the Balzac’s blend once I run the bag of anniversary through my machine.Will be back earlier on the weekend or during the week to try their in store coffee and sweets next time I need to purchase beans!
The restaurant is still open despite rumors of its closure. My wife and I enjoyed delicious coffee and blueberry oatmeal at Balzac's on the morning of the 26th. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the barista was skilled and efficient. We had a great experience, in contrast to a negative review from someone named 'John Doe'. I highly recommend this place to others. The coffee is excellent and the business is thriving, not closing down.
My partner and I ordered two oat milk flat whites with biscotti at Balzac's. I have been making espresso at home for over 30 years, so I am very particular about my coffee. I must say, our drinks at Balzac's were excellent. They were not over-brewed and had a perfect balance - not too sour, not too bitter. After trying several beverages during our visit to Niagara-on-the-Lake, this was definitely the best one we had.
This is probably the nicest coffee shop in the area with seating inside and outside.The espresso was outstanding.I had a chocolate croissant which I gave back after 1 bite as it was reslly stale. I'm not sure where they are made and how old it was but it was awful.The staff were very friendly and offered me a slice of cake instead. The cake was really fresh and really good. This quaint coffee shop is located across from the Prince of Wales. The staff is friendly, the seating is comfortable, and the coffee is good. They offer typical finger treats that you would expect to find at a coffee shop of this standard. While nothing particularly unique, it is a pleasant spot to unwind after exploring the neighborhood.
I recently visited a restaurant with a very nice ambience and excellent brewed coffee. I tried the winter blend, which had a moderate roast and a flavorful, raw coffee aroma. The restaurant is conveniently located opposite the Prince of Wales Hotel. I enjoyed the delicious taste of the coffee and the attentive service.
Best cafe in NOTL.Excelllent espresso based drinks and a wide variety of organic fair trade coffee.The cafe itself is warm, inviting with beautifl decor.Baritas are great and will even make you some latte art. Can't get that at Starbucks.

Balzac NOTL. This is one of the best coffee locations in Town (NOTL) with free WiFi great service, just perfect.
