Great place for coffee. You can sit in and chat. Water bottle filling station available. Staff were friendly and quick to recommend a drink and answer any questions. Dessert treats are tasty and a few dairy free options are available.Dietary restrictions: Dairy free milks available for coffees and dairy free desserts available.
The ambience is the best. It makes me want to work on my laptop looking out onto the street and seeing the passerby's.Wheelchair accessibility: there is a nice ramp to help people who cannot walk too good.
A must visit coffee bar in Guelph. Not my first time, and definitely see myself going there occasionally. Apart from not finding seating most of the time (at an ideal place), everything else is perfect.

Balzac's is my favorite coffee spot in Guelph. The staff are lovely and so is the , and my dog appreciates the water bowl and treats.
