bamboo flöte is an amazing and unique restaurant, very quiet with beautiful atmosphere. I am still seeing a beautiful place like this to be honest with beautiful waiter and experience cook. I ordered for seafood noodles that I had not had for some time, it was mixed with wok fried noodles, king pawns, scallops, squid, mange tout and holzohr mushrooms, it was absolutely delicious and I really enjoyed it with a mineral water. Whenever I feel like eating my favorite noodles, I know where to go. I'll call back in any case.
The food at the restaurant was delicious, but the employees were impolite. When my friend attempted to take a photo, one of the staff members physically touched his shoulder and instructed him to sit down, although in a seemingly friendly manner. However, the interaction was still considered rude. The cleanliness of the toilets was questionable as they appeared to be overlooked and contained an excess amount of toilet paper. It is true that Bamboo's staff may not be the most welcoming to children.
I am ashamed to say I have never put a google review for the bamboo house up. But that’s probably because I have been going long before there was even an internet, so never thought to do it. We have celebrated so many occasions with you, and without fail have had the best meals, with the most friendly service. I am gutted you guys are closing. This is the best Chinese food I've ever had, and now I live just around the corner from it! I highly recommend this restaurant as I have never had a bad dish from here in all the years I've been ordering. While it may be slightly more expensive than other Chinese restaurants, I believe it is definitely worth it.
After my first visit to Hong Kong and returning to the UK, it became apparent that 99% of the Chinese food in the UK is terrible! Bamboo is the exceptional 1% that truly captures the authentic flavors of Hong Kong cuisine. It is now the only restaurant I frequent.
Absolutely lovely had my very first Chinese meal with my wife it was very tasty freshly cooked. The staff were very friendly a s whilst we waited for our takeaway they gave us a complimentary drink. Will be making sure we go again. Thanks everyone.
Absolute gem of a restaurant in Mitcham of all places! Great prices, lovely staff, turns out family run too!
