Favourite from my childhood, still good, although some weird rules, e.g. no scraps/bits can be bought if eating in restaurant, but are sold at front counter; sliced bread is served in restaurant bit cannot be bought at counter thou can only have a cob/bearable at front counter. Would still use it, Unnecessary frustration caused when is actually one shop with one cooking area

Memories of 4 generations of our family having fish and chips at Bamfords. It’s an icon for us, and a trip to Scarborough has never passed without a visit to Bamfords. Great to see the business still going. Keep it up!

My disabled wife and myself have just been kicked out because we only wanted drinks...despite several tables being empty . Shocking attitude.
I enjoyed the food. Staff friendly and atmosphere pleasant. Didn't give me too many chips when requested. I'd go there again.
