Review French and English. We visited Banana on the afternoon of Sunday 18 August. My birthday. Our driver was sober but all of us had been drinking. One of your company left their iPhone behind. We were worried and phoned around all the places we had visited. We phoned Banana and they said 'Hey, you are the people who came for drinks this afternoon. We found an iPhone. 'They are friendly, welcoming and honest. We have been before we will go again. Apart from the honest staff the scenery is fantastic. visited Banana in the afternoon of Sunday, 18 August. Went to this restaurant first day of getting here, asked for a drink for me and my friend and a woman in the kitchen came in saying we could not have those drinks very rude didnt. There was no customer service or politeness whatsoever. We decided to give another chance so we went down again some time during the week to get some food and drinks as it was our last day and the same woman came out and refused to serve us saying we needed a reservation even tho there was no one inside the restaurant
A great little find, next to the Dordogne in theunderappreciated village of Mauzac. This quirky little bar doesn't seem to quote for in to the sleepy but pretty! village. There's a very well stocked bar, and some great cocktails on offer. The good is excellent (especially the duck) and the new chef as of summer 2017 had made all the difference. The owner is very friendly and speaks excellent English. This quickly became a favourite spot for an evening drink. Or three.
for years we have come with family and friends lunch on noon. The advantage is that we can park our boat. the view is beautiful, the shade of the very pleasant trees. the kitchen is made with fresh quality products. service is dynamic and efficient servers. a good quality price ratio. the sandrine boss has a lot of humour and thanks to her the village has a meeting point all year long then bravo to the whole thierry and veronique rocq team Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
first time in this small restaurant mauzac. the patronage, alone for the kitchen and the service, was a little overwhelmed so first of all a bit tense. In the end the service was not so long, we ate well and discovered a much more friendly personality at the end of service. we will probably go back if we have the opportunity to come back to this pretty village, and the note of only asks to evolve
Busy restaurant but managed to get a table, wonderful view of the river Dordogne. This restaurant is of the beaten track but well worth the detour. My husband had the burger with Serrano ham and red pepper which he said was delicious, I had a local cheese Cabicou warm on toast with salad also very good.
we have spent a very good time relaxing, the shaded terrace is nice, on the edge of dordogne, the very welcoming staff, good cuisine with hearty dishes for all tastes, the gourmet coffee is .. very gourmet. a good perigord address!!
