There's only one word to describe this place - "yum". I've peered through their windows a few times and passed on by, but I'm so glad I went in to have dinner tonight. From the outset, the service is attentive and respectful, but informal and friendly. The atmosphere is nice, but I suspect it can get pretty busy later on. I really enjoyed the Pumpkin Soup of the day - served delicately spiced as promised and actually hot enough! Fantastic. My main course was the Seafood Salad - with beautifully cooked prawns, scallops, calamari and mussels on a good, fresh and colorful salad. Overall it is a very nice place to eat. Thank you - I will be back.

I was looking for a restaurant that would offer some good vegan and non vegan food while I was in Canberra for the weekend. I had the traditional Sri Lankan Curry & Rice dish which you could get with meat, in a vegetarian AND a vegan option. It was just delicious, I couldn't get enough. It's a really nice spot for dinner and we were met with great customer service too.

banana leaf holds an excellent position in the city canberra. it has soft furniture and a beautiful attentive service. catering for sri lanka and modern Australian dishes, meals are designed to eat by a person rather than shared. of the entries. vegetarian delight – buffalo and green fruit with sri lanka spices that fried in a triangular patty and slightly fried. served with chili yogurt for three for two)

Fantastic restaurant. One of my favourite places to eat on a cold night. The curries are full of flavour.
I had the Sri Lankan Style Rice and Curry which gives you an assortment of curries. This is a good introduction dish to those who haven't tried Sri Lankan food before. This coupled with some fresh roti makes a delicious and satisfying meal.
will define the worst version of a faludas I've ever had. I always know that west has a different reception to eat, but this faluda was nothing but a thicker shaking with a tinge of rooh afza in it. It's the only word I can remember right now.
