My husband and I have enjoyed the food at this wonderful restaurant twice. Our first visit was due to its proximity to the hotel where we were staying. What a delightful surprise. The food radiated flavour and freshness. Our second visit was based on our desire to taste those wonderful flavours again. We actually booked an overnight stay at the same hotel so that we could enjoy a meal and not worry about driving back home to Emu Plains. We will be returning for a third meal with our son and his family. They are travelling up from Melbourne and as we have raved about the food so much they want to try it for themselves. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.
We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant! The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful. During our visit, we had the opportunity to speak with the owner/head chef and learned that the restaurant has been here since 2004, which is clearly a testament to their success. Everything from the food to the elegant decor to the staff in traditional attire was excellent. It's hard to pick a favorite dish, but I particularly enjoyed the Barramundi, Duck Salad, and beef and lemongrass with noodles. I can't wait to come back and try their Pho!
The food was delicious, although it may take some time to prepare and cook so it's not a quick option if you're in a hurry. It's a great place to spend time with family and friends while waiting for your order. Although I was expecting to see Vietnamese staff, I didn't come across any during my visit. The decor reminds me of Saigon and Vietnam, and the music creates a good atmosphere for conversations. I would recommend others to give this restaurant a try.
I absolutely adore Banana Palm. Their Vietnamese cuisine is simply delicious. I have a special fondness for their entrees, especially the soft shell crab. The service may not be the speediest, but if you're with friends, just sit back and enjoy the ambiance. The round tables are perfect for group gatherings. It's always a delight to dine here. I would love to have lunch here, but I understand the need for some time off as well. Highly recommended!

went there 4 times on our stay and enjoyed excellent fresh food and service, possesses for the last 10 years of charming thai lady and her polite son takes appetizers. very unique and authentic they bring their own wee that made even more worth.
here most nights when eating was extra. even though we had to tear down the green Thai curry after the first night a little. thai salads were exceptional.

Delicious food and wonderful service. They unfortunately didn't have high chairs though so we had to take turns holding our baby.
