It's a good sign when the owner serves tables and greets customers. The food at Bangor Chinese is consistently good. Recently tried the combination omelette (picked by a visiting friend) and was surprised at how good it was. Combination sate is good and my favourite, Pork Eye fillet with plum sauce is a cracka. Always start with Spring rolls and fried dim sims which are consistently good. This is a local Chinese, so don't expect the exotic, but, the food is good, the prices excellent and it's BYO. They seem to cater well for couples, families or larger groups. Hidden down the back corner of a shopping centre which needs plenty of TLC, Bangor Chinese is a hidden gem.
Bangor Chinese was the first restaurant in the "2334" area. They are a family run restaurant and they've been established for more than 20 years (I don't know the exact number of years) but they've been there a really long time; that alone has to tell you something.... They are always friendly and the food is always good. They do offer delivery within the 2234 area and they also accept credit card payments. Highly recommend Bangor Chinese.
We have been attending this restaurant for many years and have fond the service generally good for the most part. This changed last year when a male waiter started pushing for the inclusion of TIPS. We found this very offensive considering his lack of service. There was a change to the food also and the 'salt & pepper' pork dish was change - the new dish was not as good.
Have been her a few times with friends, the decor is dated, the food is nothing to rave about and have always found it noisy. The staff are very friendly and the prices are about normal for Chinese food, not a favourite of mine.

our favourite local chinese restaurant always provides good value tasty food. you can dine in or they can provide take away. some dishes can also be prepared gluten free on request.
We really enjoy the food. It's so good it's our weekly takeaway ???? Favourites are the prawn rice paper rolls, salt and pepper squid and satay chicken.
A great local Chinese restaurant, owned and run by Peter for many years. Food is always good, and service is excellent. Treats his regulars like family.
A quintessential "Australian Chinese" in the suburbs Singapore noodles were good - just as I remember from our local Chinese restaurant growing up.
